My old Jodhpuri buttons – bought from the Mayo College Shop – were looking quite tarnished and the edge of the logo on one of them also started jutting out so I needed to upgrade…..
And it was indeed a really good upgrade!
The process pf ordering from SatyaJohri.com is very simple and easy. (I believe they even offer a friends and family discount – but personally I believe friends and family should never avail a discount!).
The buttons arrived with the usual immaculate packaging and presentation that is standard for the brand. What was a further pleasant surprise was that they also include an anti-tarnish pouch for storing the buttons, and a simple yet effective hack to keep the buttons well aligned when worn!
The very first time I wore the coat with the new buttons, as I was heading down in the lift, a total stranger looked at me admiringly. I assumed he was appreciating my good looks 🙂 but he then said “I really like your buttons – very smart”.
On the two occasions that I have worn the Jodhpuri since then, I got another three compliments …… though to be honest and by way of full disclosure, one of them was from my friend and batch-mate Satya Johri himself 🙂
But this review is sincere and honest…… and I think the Rs 7,500 odd I spent for the set of large and small buttons was a great investment – as is anything you buy from SatyaJohri.com !
